in my life, i have evolved from simple pagers to smartphones to get things done. i figured as a good weekend post while i watch the USA vs BRAZIL final match, i’d give a brief timeline of how i’ve progressed from a pager to a iphone 3gs.  I remember a long time ago in a galaxy far far away, whenever i had to make a call, i had to rely on the house phone.  the problem with that is that when living with parents and 2 brothers, privacy is pretty much null and void.  Soon i upgraded to the almighty quarter and the payphone…but the problem with that is that not only i had to have a supply of coins handy, but i also had to deal with a handset that has been used by the public.  i mean i’m no germaphobe, but you get my drift. i’ve noticed that my past few posts have been circling on one topic, my love life.  I cannot believe that it has been nearly a month since I’ve written an entry here that had nothing to do with someone i truly admired as a friend, and maybe more.  In this span, a lot of other things have happened in my life that i could’ve blogged about, but that’s what dumb love does…it sticks you to one topic and negates the rest.  And i’ve kept this poor blog in terrible shape. I mean, I could dribble on and on and on why, but in all honesty it’s not worth it. But thinking it over, this is my outlet and has been since 10/2005, this is my way of reaching out to all you faithful readers.  So maybe this will connect to some of you, maybe not…but i need to start writing about newer things.  So this post about the same love topic, will be the last.  And i thank the advice of a dear friend and writer for the encouragement.  So here goes: Continue reading →
