so what have i learned so far?
No Comment // Written on May 15, 2009 // mobilethese past few weeks made me realize a lot…from the simple, to the complex, the great, to the heartbreaking. So i figured i’d just wing it and list as much as i can:
1. i really need to visit the new shea stadium…yes, i refuse to call it citi field lol.
2. again i find myself hesitant to open up to people, to let my guard down, only because I feel like it leaves me vulnerable. I’ve been able to stave it off for a good 5 years, but months back i opened up again only to be hurt…again. So once again I find myself having to close all doors to cut the risk of being hurt again, like a defense mechanism. What’s worse is finding out how much i should open and to who deserves the privilege…so there is no set value, has it’s risks. After all, one person’s personal compliment may be taken as another person’s mortal sin.
3. i realized that i said “again” one too many times…go figure.
4. I need to keep my eye on my electronics…i lost my iphone more than a week ago and it feels odd having to tap extra to check mail on a teency samsung cell. regardless, a sub-$60 phone compared to a $300 iphone. and if i buy an extra, i better not be forced to sin on via AT&T…ew…
5. i wanted to try something different with my goatee, and perhaps extend it from my sideburns down to the chin…make it look nice and different. But after looking at this website, i realized that i would be sporting a “pencil-thin douche bag beard”. And there are only two people i know who are douchy enough for that style…i am not one of them.
6. reggaeton is not a music genre…there, i said it.
